Common questions
Where are my journals stored?
Journals are stored as files in the storage location you choose in settings.
How should I back up my journals?
Because journals are standalone files, you can copy them to any folder or backup location you trust. If the same day changes in multiple places, Fluno can preserve both versions and guide you through conflict handling.
Which formats can I import or export?
Fluno supports importing .fluno, .md, .txt, and date-named .zip bundles. Export options include PDF, DOCX, FLUNO, Markdown, TXT, and ZIP-based bundles depending on the export flow you choose.
What if I forget the lock password?
If you use journal or notebook lock, please keep a record of your password and maintain backups of important files. Lock protection is designed to keep private writing secure, so recovery options may be limited.
What should I send if an import or export fails?
Please include the file type you used, the file name pattern, what happened on screen, and where the journal was stored.
